FUN ON THE FUNICULAR

Highland Park Heritage Trust Walking Tour
The Arroyo Seco: Heritage and Innovation tour follows the funicular route up Mount Washington to the Self-Realization Fellowship site and the first home built on the Mount Washington hilltop. The specific homes included run the gamut from early to recent (i.e., Fung-Blatt Architects and an ecologically green house) with a heavy emphasis on work by James DeLong, a Frank Lloyd Wright Taliesin fellow and a long-time Mount Washington resident.Sycamore Terrace and the Sousa-Hiner house will also be featured. Judson Studios will be included as well with a tour of the stained glass facilities, a photograph display, and refreshments.
