Afterwards, you will stroll through the "neighborhood" visiting two other homes (The Hale House and The Shaw House) which will be dressed up for the season . The tour ends up with Father Christmas and tasty treats in the last home. It is all quite a unique experience and will allow you to appreciate the Victorian era and a simpler time in our country's history.

This Holiday season, Santa is bringing good cheer and presents sans the reindeer.
How will he deliver toys to needy families? On a bicycle of course!
And you can help -- join the Toy NOT Drive.

Meet at Heritage Square/Arroyo Gold Line Station (with your bike, of course!)

Gather on Saturday, November 12th at Noon. The ride leaves promptly at 12:30 pm

The family friendly ride will last about an hour and will be mostly flat and at a pace of about 7-10 miles per hour. Participants are asked to bring gifts to be donated to the Hathaway Family Resource Center, where the ride will end.

The mission of the Hathaway Center is to support families in providing a safe and nurturing environment for theirchildren. The Center does this by offering a variety of programs throughout the Northeast Los Angeles area.

Art, Artists and Homes: The Eclectic Eagle Rock Home Tour Has It All

Discover the secrets that make Eagle Rock a unique and fascinating place during the Sixth Annual Eclectic Eagle Rock Home Tour. View the mix of architectural character among large and small homes in a corner of Los Angeles that evokes the welcoming qualities of small-town America. Charming examples of Victorian Transitional homes, Craftsman, and Spanish Colonial Revival homes will be on display during the tour scheduled for Sunday, November 6, 2005, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Organized and sponsored by The Eagle Rock Association (TERA), the tour will start at 5277 Mt. Royal Drive, located on the southwest corner of Mt. Royal Drive and Hill Drive. Along the way, participants will have a chance to view demonstrations of home restoration skills at designated areas and observe artists working plein air along route in the Mt. Royal Drive area north of Colorado Boulevard. In addition, TERA will present a fascinating "Scenes of Eagle Rock" art exhibit featuring scenes from Eagle Rock by southern Californian artists. The works will be exhibited in Carlotta's Passion Gallery located at 2012 Colorado Boulevard from Sunday, November 6 through Sunday, November 13, 2005.
