Twelve Days of Christmas Celebrated At Gold Line Locations

A Traveling Holiday Adventure to benefit The Midnight Mission.

Many years in the thinking and the making, Smart Gals offers twelve nightly gatherings delving into the lost tradition of the Twelve Days of Christmas. When Christmas meant not one day, but twelve - twelve days of public revelry, twelve days of social chaos, twelve days of extended lounging, gift-giving and unbridled mirth.

Commencing on Christmas night, December 25, 2005 and concluding on Twelfth night, January 5, 2006, this event spans 12 consecutive nights, involves 12 gatherings, and uses 12 singular locations along the Gold Line.

Money will not change hands, but participants must bring small gifts for The Midnight Mission, a homeless shelter providing basic sustenance, recovery and educational training for the neediest denizens of Los Angeles. Needed gifts are listed on the web site shown below - one example: toothbrushes.
