Farmers Market Tuesday June 27

What's at the Farmers Market? Stawberries, cherries, sweet corn, tomatoes, oranges, lemons, grapefruits, Asian pears, avocados, broccoli, spinach, lettuce, beets, carrots, potatoes, onions, garlic, eggs, fresh cut flowers, honey, fresh cheese, dried nuts and fresh bread.

You can also pick up a great dinner at the market with tasty tamales, rotisseried chicken, baked potatoes and yams and roasted corn. If Tuesday's hot, you can also count on shaved ice and fresh smoothies to cool you down.

Please stop by the market for fresh, field-ripened, high quality produce from local farmers and spend time with your friends, neighbors and other community members.

The Highland Park Certified Farmers Market is located adjacent to the Highland Park Gold Line station at Marmion Way between Ave. 57 & 58 and operates Tuesdays from 3-8 pm.

The market will not operate on Tuesday July 4th (not this week, but the following week)

Visit the market website at http://www.oldla.org - For a great Mashup Map visit http://www.its.caltech.edu/~sbudick to see where your produce is coming from!
